Who can attend?
Check the eligibility requirements here, then check to see if a contingent has been organised, or others are attending from your country here.
Where will I camp?
- Scout – your patrol and 1 of your leaders will be blended into an Australian Unit of 36 Scouts and 4 or 5 Leaders.

Venturer – There is a dedicated campsite for Venturer age Scouts. -
Rovers and Leaders – If you are not camping with your Scouts in and Australian Unit, you will be camping in a Leaders campsite.
What is the weather like?
AJ2022 takes place during the heat of an Australian summer. Victoria is known to have unpredictable weather that can change in a matter of seconds. Be prepared for any kind of weather.
Can I attend as an IST member?
Yes! We welcome International Service team members, please register your skills and interests in the registration form.
How do I apply?
How do I get there?
If you have a contingent organised from your country, your Contingent Leader will have that information for you.
Can I attend as a independent traveller?
I have special dietary needs, will they be catered for?
Yes, please ensure all of the information is up to date in the registration form.
When will AJ2022 be held?
AJ2022 is from Monday January 3 - Thursday January 13 2022 excluding travel times.
What documents do I need
You will be requried to hold a valid passport and applicable Visa to enter Australia.
I have a medical condition - will I be excluded?
No, please make sure all of the information is up to date in the registrations.
